Mounting the same 6.7-liter V8 engine as the first Hoonicorn version, this monster machine with a radical tuneup using special twin turbochargers and methanol-fueled delivers a terrifying 1,400 horsepower output! Ken Block, known for virtually superhuman gymkhana performances, confessed, “Hoonicorn V2 is so different from all the other 4-wheel drive cars I’ve driven to now. BJ Baldwin’s Toyota Tundra Trophy Truck is a custom trophy truck based on a 2016 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro. Able to compete in the BAJA1000* that’s known as one of the world’s most punishing competitions, the truck’s monster suspension allows it to tackle winding roads around cliffs, scree, and desert surfaces. Born October 15, 1977, Masato Kawabata is a professional driver from Osaka and holder of the world’s fastest drifting record. A three-time all-around series championship winner in the D1 Grand Prix, a drift competition originating in Japan, Kawabata was also the victor in the first FIA-recognized International Drifting Cup that was run in 2017.
In 2014, he challenged the “Hill Climb” competition on the Hakone Turnpike, a public road without any escape zones, and showed incredible full-on drifting at 215km/h. The video of this awesome performance has racked up over 1.8 million views!
