TOYO TIRES Sets Foot at the San Siro

Osaka, Japan – 11 December, 2014 – Toyo Tire & Rubber Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Nishi-ku, Osaka; Takuji Yamamoto, president) announces that the company will present the Italian Serie A league’s AC Milan vs. S.S.C. Napoli S.p.A soccer match on December 14 as “Match Sponsor Day.”

Toyo Tires, which became an AC Milan sponsor from April 2014, has begun kicking its sponsorship into full gear for the 2014-15 season that began at the end of August. This past November 17, Toyo released a self-produced original film titled “AC Milan vs Super Car” to a global audience. The film has already attracted over six million views and has generated buzz worldwide.

For the AC Milan vs. S.S.C. Napoli S.p.A match, the company will set up a Toyo Tires booth around the perimeter of AC Milan’s home San Siro stadium, where in addition to displaying the company’s lineup of premium tires it will also offer a variety of fun mini-events, including a radio controlled car race and a selfie contest. Female models dressed in innovative Japanese kimono featuring designs inspired by tire tread patterns will also be on hand to interact with visitors. This first-of-its-kind unique space will be a production that is expected to deliver new surprises to AC Milan supporters.
