OSAKA, JAPAN- June 30, 2008- TOYO TIRE & RUBBER CO., LTD. hereby announces that Toyo Tire Italia S. p. A (Collesalvetti, Italy, President: Marco Cecconi), the Italian tire sales subsidiary of Toyo Tire Europe GmbH has relocated and expanded its head office and warehouse.

Constructed in Collesalvetti, the same city as the former Italian HQ, the warehouse considerably increases the capacity for Toyo Tire Italia S.p.A. to service the market whilst enlarged office accommodation allows for the planned expansion of the sales team.

In order to better meet the needs of the Italian market and to support expansion in sales, the new head office and warehouse will be enlarged further in a second phase of construction. Toyo Tire & Rubber Co., LTD are committed to enhancing the TOYO TIRES brand position and sales in Italy, one of the major markets in Europe.

Toyo Tire Europe GmbH (Neuss, Germany, President: Kanji Kasai), the European tire sales subsidiary of Toyo Tire & Rubber Co., LTD., serves as European regional administrative headquarters. In addition to Toyo Tire Italia S.p.A., it has two sales subsidiaries operating in major European markets under its umbrella, Toyo Tire (UK) Ltd. (Rushden, United Kingdom), and Toyo Tire Benelux B.V. (Roosendaal, Netherland). Toyo Tire Italia S.p.A became a 100% owned sales subsidiary of Toyo Tire Europe GmbH following the purchase from an independent Italian dealer in November, 2006.
