Toyo unifies brand logos

Effective October 1, Toyo Tire & Rubber Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Yoshio Kataoka) has unified its brand logos, which previously varied by segment.

Although the “Toyo” logo has been widely utilized over recent years, Toyo Tire & Rubber Co., Ltd. has decided to unify our brand logos in order to strengthen our brand on a global scale and to energize Toyo’s marketing activities by presenting a uniform brand image.

The “Toyo Tires” logo has been utilized in some cases by the Tire Company and has been very favorably received. With its bold italic capitals and vivid blue (when displayed in color) like the “Toyo logo,” the design conveys an impression of vigorous strength.

In April 2007, Toyo instituted a dedicated brand management unit within its corporate division. As the company embarks on its next medium-term business plan, commencing in fiscal 2008, it aims to drive international growth by strongly promoting a globally unified brand image.
