Australian Rubber Mixing Plant Declares Official Opening

Toyo Tyre & Rubber Australia Limited (TAL, President: Isamu Kaneto), a subsidiary of Toyo Tire & Rubber Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Yoshio Kataoka), announced on the 20th of October the official opening of its new rubber mixing plant in Australia.

Besides the import and sale of Toyo brand tires, and the manufacture and sale of automotive parts, TAL is supplying mixed rubber to some of the major rubber consumers in the country. With the demand for mixed rubber rising in the last few years, TAL decided to open a new plant with a view to improving supply arrangements and boosting capacity.

Simultaneously an occasion to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the foundation of TAL, the opening ceremony was attended by some 150 visitors, including central and local government officials, key customers, business partners, construction business related personnel, and tire dealers from around Australia.
