Toyo and Nitto Exhibit at the SEMA Show 2005

Toyo Tire (U.S.A.) Corp. (President: Masaharu Yoshimoto) and Nitto Tire North America Inc. (President: Tomoshige Mizutani), tire sales subsidiaries in the USA of Toyo Tire & Rubber Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Yoshio Kataoka), will exhibit at the SEMA Show 2005, which is being held from November 1 – 4, 2005, at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

Organized by the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA), the SEMA Show is the premier automotive specialty performance products trade event in the world. This year, over 1,900 companies in the automotive business are planning to exhibit at this annual event, which is expected to attract more than 100,000 industry leaders and buyers from over 100 countries for unlimited opportunities to get updated on the latest offerings, technology and market trends.

Toyo Tire and Nitto Tire will each set up their own separate booths in order to demonstrate their unique brand strategies.

Featured at Toyo Tire's booth are seven customized vehicles, equipped with the Proxes lines - Toyo's global brand for ultra high performance tires - and Open Country M/T highly rated off-road tires. Also offered at the booth are a preview of its new Georgia tire plant, which will start full-scale production in early 2006, and other events designed to impress visitors with the Toyo brand's collective strengths, which are testified by the fact that it was ranked No. 1 in Tire Review's Annual Tire Brand Survey (Toyo Voted "Best Overall" in Tire Review's Annual Tire Brand Study, 20 October, 2005).

The Nitto Tire's booth is dedicated to its flagship lines that are enjoying overwhelming popularity in niche markets for their combination between high performance and artistic pattern design, including NT420S tires for SUV and NEO GEN tires for sport compact cars. The highlight of the exhibit are six customized vehicles fitted with brand new tires developed out of its unique, creative marketing activities, which should enhance Nitto Tire's image as a market-sensitive, innovative brand.

Toyo- and Nitto-brand tires have been the most frequently chosen tires out of over 1,000 vehicles exhibited at the annual SEMA Show for six consecutive years (Company data).
