Toyo Launches New Global Logo
OSAKA,JAPAN– November 26, 2002–Toyo Tire & Rubber Co., Ltd. hereby announces that it will determine a new corporate logo that both clarifies and unifies the Toyo image in the global market, beginning January 1, 2003.
The Toyo Group have traditionally adopted a variety of logos, each suited to and recognized within individual markets. With the decision to consolidate to a distinctive new logo, however, Toyo is embarking on a strategy designed to build a solid, single corporate brand image in the market worldwide.
The new Toyo logo features a fresh blue color scheme with powerful, wide italic lettering,expressing the groupwide spirit of challenge for the future.
Soon, Toyo plans to distribute the Guidelines for Usage of the New Logotypes and an accompanying manual to its group companies and business bases the world over, in order to strictly control the visual identity of the new logo. At the same time, Toyo is also asking its business partners and agents to join in the concerted effort by quickly moving to conform to the logo changes.
