


Founded in 1945, Toyo Tire & Rubber Co., Ltd. has been in manufacturing and sales business of automobile tires, industrial rubber, urethane products and anti-vibration rubber for automobiles, consistently cultivating a distinctive market with innovative technologies and products. Toyo Tires' business activities are not limited in Japan, but our group companies are operating in more than 100 countries and regions worldwide today, providing unique products and services that meet the diversifying needs of our customers.
In 2011, the Toyo Tires Group formulated "Vision 2020" and "2011 Mid-Term Business Plan," based on the Corporate Mission Statement that expresses its foundational spirit, and the Corporate Philosophy that guide our management decisions. "Vision 2020" is a long-term strategy for the next 10 years to realize our ideal future by 2020, and the "2011 Mid-Term Business Plan" is a five-year specific management plan for our interim target by 2015.
This year, harsh economic environment remains and it is expected that aftermath of the East Japan Earthquake on March 11 will continue.
However, we set the year 2011 as a critical point for us to make a fresh start toward new growth eyeing 5-10 years down the road.. To that end, all of us at the Toyo Tires Group are united in dedicating ourselves to ensure these goals to be achieved.
