Aug 1945 Changes name to Toyo Tire & Rubber Co., Ltd. merged with Toyo Rubber Industrial Co., Ltd.
May 1949 Lists shares on Osaka stock exchange
Jul 1953 Establishes Itami Manufacturing Complex
May 1955 Lists shares on Tokyo stock exchange

Dec 1961 Establishes Central R&D Laboratories (present Technical Research Center) in Osaka
Sep 1964 Establishes Hyogo Plant - manufacturing polyurethane foam
